So far so good this story is about a Navajo boy. Who goes to mission school and he has a pretty hard time. Because he gets his hair cut realy short, and that hapened on page.19.And somewhere in the book it said that it was embarrassing to get your hair cut short. He couldn't speak his own language. And if he couldn't speak English he couldn't talk at all. That isn't all thought Ned loved to study on the Japan people and its ways. One day Japan attaked Pearl Harbor evorybody was confused.
This book is really good. But it's sad that the people are treating the Navajo's like that. It doesn't matter that their skin color is different from their skin color, or that they come from different traditions. It's nogt nice to treat someone different because they are different from you. I hope that Ned get'sfight in the war like he wanted. I think that if you want to do something as much as Ned does, then you should be able to do it. I woner if he will become like the other men who fought in the war. All strong and musular and looking perfect and standing straight up tall. Sometimes when I see people like that it makes me feel small.

This book is about a Navajo boy named "Little Boy".When he was 6,the white mans law said that all the Navajo children ubove the age of 6 are requiered to go to school. So Little Boy's uncle drives Little Boy to the white man's mission school many miles away from their home. After Little Boy arrives at the mission school, all the kids go into a small shack.

In the shack are 3 older boys with their hair cut to their scalp. One of the boy's had siccoirs in his hand. And the first person in line is Little Boy. THe 2 boys grab Little Boy by the arms and put him in a wooden chair. Then the other boy cuts Little Boys hair to his scalp. After all the Navajo childerns hair is cut they go in and line up in the school yard. There standing is a white man about 5.6 foot white man.that white mans job is to give all the children names. And Little Boys name becomes Ned Begay. Later in life Ned becomes an exalent student at the mission school. And right away Ned loves the white mans subjects. Like, Social Studies and History. One thing that the children must never do ,is that they can never speak or act like Navajo children again.
I wouldn't want to go to war. I could get killed. It's kinda funny about the cactus's and that only the Navajo's know about them. It's sad about the natives to HAwaii were being tortured. I didn't know that. Also, that would be really gross having all those nasty bugs with you. I would be freaked out.
Dear Every one Code talkers is about a navajo boy named kii yazhi or in Englis (Little boy) geting shiped off into boarding school(page 5). When he was in boarding school he did well but he was not to speak navajo. There they thought it was worth none (boy they they where wrong) he had to speak Englis. throw the rest of boarding school he did great and tryed to learn Englis when the teachers called on him he just said in Enlis yes teacher they would smile and tell him he did not have to answer the qustion (page 26). Then when he was down with school he went into high school when he was in high school the japanes attack pearl harbor . A marin came to the navajo reservation and recroted 26 men ned wanted to be one . But he was to young. A year past and a nother marien came to get recures and ned was old enghnef now and got in. How do you think he will do In the army?
That would be really scary if you were be bombed on. I wouldn't have the guts to kill so many people. I wouldn't even have the guts to kill one person, even if it was for a war. I think that you shouldn't go to war, even if some other country started it, you should still try to find a way to not go to war. If your country gets in a fight with another country, you should try to bring peace. It isn't right to kill people. Everyone should have the chance to change. On page 112 the thing that Ned thought would be a scary thought and would make me want to run away. The thought was ''They had not run away from their post this time. Their hands were on their weapons. They were waiting to kill us.''
Dear Mackenzie Im not sure to agree what you said on your last blog. I would be kinda scary if you knew some one was waiting to kill you (like on page 112) but the navy would be diff. then the marians first you would be on a big ship in the middle of the ocaen then In the sky in a plane with people trying to kill you but you have all these guns and bombs on the plane and a big meatle shell around you for protchen but in the miltary you out with a gun and people trying to kill you well back to the book. Dear every one In the first page of the book Ned lives in a hogan what is that? then on page 25 he calls the teachers a bilagaanaa what is that?
